My head couldn’t take it in. This 11-year-old was a fully grown man.
At least that’s how it seemed. I hadn’t laid eyes on Danny since he left the UK and grade school to move to the US with his family.
He’d been living in the States ever since and now he’d just collected me from Seattle airport and was driving me to his house. It was the first time I’d seen him in 19 years...and in my mind he was still that 11-year-old boy that climbed on the school bus the last time I’d seen him. Was he really old enough to drive???
Being reunited with Danny was my first ever visit to the US and immediately I fell in love with the people and the patriotism. Somehow felt sure that the land of opportunity would play a big role in my future.
I was right. Today I am proud to say that the USA is Coffee Gator’s biggest and most important market.
I wanted to find a way to say thanks to you guys for believing in a British guy like me and for supporting Coffee Gator. That’s why I decided to make a special edition coffee canister for independence day.
I think it’s pretty cool. But you guys can judge for yourself:
When I say it's limited edition, I really mean it. So make sure you head over and grab it before it sells out!
In case you were wondering, 19 years may have passed but hanging out with Danny felt the same as when we were kids. We both still had the same nerdy interests and crazy, weird sense of humour.
